Like many people I just loved the Peter Rabbit stories as a child! I think they’re indelibly etched on all our memories – so I’m obviously delighted to offer this wonderful collectible Peter Rabbit soft toy! It’s part of our fantastic Rainbow Design collection and it’s already proving a big winner!!

Everything about this shouts quality and care – just look at the beautiful design with the recognisable blue linen jacket, brass look buttons and a keep sake booklet swing tag! I think it’s great – a real tribute to the skill and craftsmanship of the chaps from Rainbow Design.

People can’t seem to get enough of them for the simple reason that they are beautifully made and designed – they really capture the joy of owning your first teddy bear.

Paddington Bear Still Has the Touch

A number of news pieces caught our attention here this week which prove the ongoing appeal of Paddington Bear.

On another note a special exhibition dedicated to Paddington and his creator, Michael Bond, opened this month at Reading Museum. Entitled The Life and Times of Paddington Bear, visitors will learn how Bond came up with the idea one Christmas in 1956 and follow his progression from the first book, A Bear Called Paddington in 1958 to his most recent incarnation in 2008.
