Chemistry Sets

During the last 12 months chemistry sets have become one of our fastest selling products.

We stock the John Adams range of chemistry sets along with the University of Cambridge chemistry set, which has just become available again after some 9 months.

The John Adams range includes the main product with 100 experiments alongside which there is also the Kitchen chemistry set – both are extremely popular. The main chemistry set has a guide price of £24.95 and we have it on offer at the moment at £19.99! The University of Cambridge chemistry set is a beautifully packaged product that does sell at £24.99 and,although the contents are not quite as good as the John Adams set, it has a healthy educational feel.

Schleich Animals

It is nearly 18 months ago now that we were first told we should stock Schleich models. Our first thoughts were that we should not until we had installed pretty slick systems so that we could discount Schleich animals and be one of the cheapest suppliers in the market place.

Now we are there. It has been a long road to make sure that everything we do is so efficient that we can really offer the best products at the keenest prices.

Wooden Train Set Arrives

During the last two years we, at T&L, have been checking feedback to see what children’s toys we should add to the educational toys we already have available. A wooden train set came top of the list.

We wondered if this really fitted our criteria of educational toys. At the end of the day our own understanding is that we should stock products that help children of all ages learn and develop as they explore their environment. Wooden train sets certainly help a young child learn about their immediate environment. We may not be able to remember ourselves but we do enjoy seeing children being amused for hours as they push the train around the track.

We were a bit slow off the mark here. We started with Logiblocs electronics kits because they have been the market leading suppliers of electronic learning kits for quite a few years. Logiblocs kits are pretty good kits with parts from all the kits interchangeable. We strongly recommend them.
